Does Fat Turn Into Muscle? Why Should You Avoid Fat?

Does fat turn into muscle? The short and sweet answer to this question is no. Fat can never be turned into muscle; there is no possibility of that happening. Fat is an essential nutrient; it is not a natural product that has something to do with muscle mass. We know that protein is responsible for muscle mass formation, but does it turn into muscle? No. Protein, although probably being the most important nutrient for muscle growth only induces the muscle tissues to grow larger. Fat and muscle are not the same type of tissue and cannot convert back and forward from one to the other.  Your goal therefore should be to increase the amount of protein available for your body to use, while at the same time trying to use more fat as a fuel source rather than protein. Fat Turns into Muscle

Fat liberates energy and not muscle:

Fat is a hard, soluble product found in our body which can be digested with an intense workout. Fat enters our body through some products – mostly dairy, edible oil, processed foods, junk foods, and other fried foods. The particles from the food we consume cannot be digested easily. They often settle in our liver as excess material. The fat that had settled has to be removed only by burning, or by increasing metabolism. The process of metabolism is said to be a bioprocess in which all food particles are burned or broken down to liberate energy. Fat, protein, or carbs – whatever it is – it can be broken down to liberate energy and to get muscle.

What is fat?

Fat is known as a vessel that stores energy. Fat cells are broken down into smaller particles, which are transformed into energy, and nothing else. Fat cells can be found on either side of the skeletal muscle and they are not the same as muscle cells. Fat cells remain separate and can never merge with the muscle tissues. Fat cells cannot merge with muscles and so cannot become muscle tissue.

Workout and fat:

When you get yourself into an intensive workout, you need to be aware of your current body condition. Body condition refers to the amount of energy it has and the amount of stress it can withstand. Workouts should increase your stamina and strength in the long term; not reduce them. It is common for overweight or obese people to reduce their weight or fat by working out. When working out, you burn more fat and other nutrients to liberate energy, so you only use fat to get energy to workout. If you lift a lot of weights then you can increase the stable lean muscle mass. The fat cells get smaller and the muscle tissues expand. Biotheories state that if you use an organ frequently you are going to make it larger in order to cope with the increased workload.

Why you should avoid fat:

Fat consumption has to be managed because it can settle on the liver if consumed in large amounts. The entire amount of fat we consume has to be digested or burned, or it may trouble your liver, and subsequently the metabolism. Fat hindering metabolism restricts your muscles from enlarging. Fat settlement also reduces the metabolic rate, which slows down the burning of other energy substrates.
